Steven

Steven Sturdivant is the head floral artisan. Born in New Mexico, he moved to Ohio when he was three and gained his family’ passion for nature. His great grandfather worked as head gardener at Franklin Park Conservatory while his grandmother was an avid lover of gardens and wildflowers. His father loved Ohio farmland, so Steven grew up on the family farm, gaining an appreciation for all that was around him. F1

This background also provided him with many influences that now appear in his floral design. His style is organic and innovative. Being a self-taught floral designer, Steven has now worked in the floral industry for over 30 years and created some incredible designs for weddings, events, and gifts.

Katie

Katie has been in the floral industry since 2003, gaining a love for flowers from her parents who were avid gardeners. The now 13 years she has spent in the floral industry have provided her with many different trends and styles to adapt as she has watched the evolution in floral design continue. Katie continues to add to her knowledge and uses magazines and sites like Pinterest for inspiration.

Recognizing Our Fallen Heroes on Memorial Day

F1Here, in Columbus, we have many events on Memorial Day and throughout the weekend leading up to the day.

On Monday, May 30th, we will celebrate all of our fallen heroes throughout every battle, conflict, and war that our soldiers have participated in to maintain our freedom.F2

We look back on these heroes with admiration and awe because they did what so many others are afraid to do.

They also risked their lives for us and, for that, we are eternally grateful.

Whether you are planning an event, showing your patriotism, visiting a gravesite, or telling someone else you know they are thinking about a lost loved one, our Columbus flower shops are here to provide you with beautiful ways to participate in Memorial Day this year.F3

Our collection for Memorial Day includes these flower arrangements:

  • The 36 Carnation Wreath Patriotic is 22-inches and contains 36 carnations in patriotic colors along with baby’s breath and fresh greenery. It comes attached to an easel.
  • The Patriotic Spirit Spray is a standing spray with red carnations, white gladiola, and blue delphinium along with a patriotic ribbon.
  • The 24 Carnation Easel Patriotic is very similar to our 36 Carnation Wreath but it also has statice and baby’s breath along with red and white carnations. It also comes attached to an easel.F4
  • Sea to Shining Sea is a gorgeous flower arrangement for Memorial Day that includes a range of red, white, and blue flowers arranged in a cobalt blue vase.
  • Two other Memorial Day flower arrangements feature 24 carnations. The 24 Carnation Urn Patriotic arranges the carnations in a beautiful urn while the 24 Carnation Vase Patriotic offers an 11” garden vase. Both contain red and white carnations along with purple statice to offer a patriotic touch.

We can deliver throughout the Columbus area as well as across the country.F5
